Faces, masks, props…Shakespeare’s world in Polish theatre posterThe exhibition presents three generations of artists:  Masters who started after IIWW, their students and continuators, and the last young generation who started in the XXI century. The exhibition will present posters of 25 authors, 18 titles of Shakespeare plays from 22 theatres. The posters presented at the exhibition were created over a period of 50 years. The oldest are made using a classic graphic or painting technique. Contemporary posters combine old techniques with typography and photography.

Short information about my cv: in the past: manager of the theaters, organizer of theatre festivals, author of the textes about theatre live, also theatre history. Graduated  Toruń University, now live in Warsaw.

Posters at the exhibition are from following private, museum and theatre collections: Instytut Teatralny Warszawa, Sabina Laskowska-Hinz, Cezary Niedziółka, Waldemar Świerzy Galerije i kazališta: Narodowy Warszawa; Wybrzeże Gdańsk; Powszechny Warszawa; Teatr Jana Kochanowskiego Opole; Teatr Juliusza Słowackiego Kraków; Teatr
Polski Poznań.
