The staging of Crazy Locomotive (Poludjela lokomotiva) takes us inside Witkacy?s steam locomotive, which is actually a metaphor for theatre and life which seems to be losing its exciting essence not even a hundred years later. (...) Crazy Locomotive (Poludjela lokomotiva) may look like a drama in the spectre of psychological realism, presenting subtle relations interwoven with sharp and irritable replicas every now and then. It gives us an image of a captivated, non-genuine life, as well as the nature of theatre, in which tension continuously grows that has to be simplified by the Crazy Locomotive (Poludjela lokomotiva) in order to develop its metaphysical potential.
