The play entitled Zagreb Pentagram is composed of five pieces written by contemporary Croatian authors. It is an original project by Zagrebačko kazalište mladih which includes five one-act plays and a monologue of several authors: Igor Rajkić, Filip Šovagović, Ivan Vidić, Nina Mitrović and Damir Karakaš. This award-winning omnibus directed by Paolo Magelli was one of the best productions of Croatian theatrical scene last year. The play in which different approaches and topics are united by the common theme of Croatian (Zagreb) everyday life, is populated with next-door faces and their dilemmas, trouble and dreams. In a tragicomical way, Zagreb Pentagram brings everyday situations to life; it deals with problems of living in a city of everyday people, regardless of their social status, struggling with both the lives they lead and the times they live in.
